About Me
Hi. I am looking for carriers that can transport vintage electronic musical equipment primarily Leslie speaker cabinets and an occasional Hammond organ. The Leslies are wooden cabinets and typically weigh between 100 and 140 pounds. The most common dimensions are 29w" x 21d" x 41h. Some are 33"h or 60"h. The Leslie cabinets contain vintage tube amplifiers and speakers. They can typically be handled by one person. The Hammond organs can weigh 250 - 400 pounds and usually have separate bass pedals and bench. Each item must be blanket wrapped and floor loaded. No other items should be placed on top. The service provider misrepresented themselves, their business or their services Several of the pre-defined Reasons for Cancellation are applicable. The agreement stated pickup by 6/6/12 and delivery by 6/30/12. The provider has still not picked up the item. At one point the provider said his vehicle was in for repairs and would be unavailable for a week. A week or so later, the provider gave a pickup date, but did not make the pickup or call to cancel.
