About Me
Amy Dee moved to NYC in December of 1998 with a friend. While moonlighting as a bartender her free time was spent being an apprentice to a small fashion line, learning the craft of sewing and pattern making.
Breaking off sometime later to purse her own creations she started a line of corsets made from vintage t shirts as well as reconstructing old military clothing into dresses.
After a few years of taking a break from fashion and NYC she could no longer resist and returned to in the spring of 2009. While no longer making clothing, she's now focused on bringing the magazine clutch purse back to it’s popularity of the 70’s and still making some of the best Manhattan's you'll have in Manhattan.
Living in Brooklyn’s DUMBO neighborhood she is continually inspired by the views of Manhattan and amazing street art that surrounds her everyday.
