Hi! So, first things first: there are two instruments, and neither is a piano - they're both harpsichords. Harpsichords prefer to be shipped lying flat; to save space, you can stack the much smaller and lighter red one on top of the big heavy black one, with two layers of blanket between the two and another two layers under the black one, and strapped to the inside of the vehicle. In a pinch, they can both be put on their spines (long straight side) and strapped down, not next to each other.
