For years I have been moving back and forth across the country for seasonal work, and more recently I have lived abroad. I had a storage unit out west, and the "storage unit" in the east was my parents' house. Finally settling out west, I spent a week at the homestead packing up the odds and ends I'd left with my folks.
I looked online for various quotes from greyhound, fedex and other local shippers. On a whim I tried uship. I was worried about the reputation of the random shipper that bid on my boxes, but there was a lot of helpful feedback from previous clients. The quote was just over half the price of all the other shippers I'd looked into.
In the end, I had a great experience with my shipper, Claude, who was very careful and very friendly. I don't normally leave feedback, but I know how important feedback was in my experience, so here it is! Give uship a try!
