I purchased a totally restored 1980 Suzuki RM400 Motocross Bike through a bid using ebay. In order to stay within a budget, I contacted uShip for a transport cost prior to bid closure. I was given a figure very quickly, which allowed me to bid with full confidence with no worries of those costly incidentals afterwards. The bike was to be shipped from Mesquite, Texas to Waterloo, Ontario (Canada), and certainly was not exactly around the corner!
I fortunately won the bid on the bike, and subsequently contacted the shipper to arrange delivery. The shipping company was "Dream Ride Transport", and I'll tell you that they were a "Dream To Deal With"! Mr. Tom Gregg kept in touch with both the vendor in Texas and myself, giving us a confidence-inspiring experience to say the least! Confidence and Trust is the best way to describe what Tom exuded from start to finish. I had no worries at all, and Tom made sure that I was informed the whole way.
Tom of "Dream Ride Transport" delivered the bike on the date predicted, and the bike itself was secured in a certain way that prevented the rear shocks and front forks from being in compression. (If they are in compression, the seals will eventually give way to leakage, rendering the units damaged and requiring extensive repair) Experience is what Tom has alot of!
"Dream Ride Transport" and Tom Gregg are a Class Act! For your next purchase of a "Dream Ride", I'd totally recommend these guys to look after your new baby for a no-worry, confidence-inspiring shipping experience!
Would I use uShip again for my next purchase from afar? You can bet your bottom dollar I would! At a time when you find an item that's a "must have", uShip provides you with the backing to ensure a very pleasant purchasing experience! I'm glad that they were there for me!
