"Excellent experience shipping furniture and boxes to Whitehorse"
shipping from Toronto, Ontario, Canada Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada for $1,401.54
My daughter and her husband recently moved to Whitehorse and I wanted to ship them some furniture and household items from Toronto. Since it wasn't a full load of furniture, the major moving companies weren't interested or were too expensive. i wasn't sure where to turn when I suddenly discovered Uship online when I was surfing the web trying to find small moving companies. i decided to try it. i posted my shipment for 5 days. Within hours, I started receiving bids. i particularly liked the fact that you could ask questions of the bidders and it was great getting a good understanding of how various bidders were planning to do the shipment. i also liked the fact that I could look up their profiles. Some people that bid had previous experience on Uship and had testimonials from customers. Other bidders were just starting with Uship and so didn't have any customer feedback yet. This was all good information with which you could make your decision. After 5 days and several bids, I chose Tall Trees because they seemed keen (they actually bid twice which impressed me), they had a good profile and very positive customer feedback. I didn't want to risk anything with this shipment so i was happy to go with someone with a proven track record. i was not disappointed. From the moment I accepted the bid with Tall Trees, I was put in contact with Stéphane Savard who was very responsive and helpful immediately. They were able to pick up my items within days of me accepting their bid which was great. I discussed what I had to do with Stéphane and then packed everything up and wrapped certain items in Bubblewrap. They picked up the items and delivered them in 1 week to Whitehorse in perfect condition. I was very pleased with the whole process and would definitely use Uship again and would definitely recommend Tall Tress. I think this is a great website and a great way to send things all over the country. What a brilliant concept! Kudos to Uship and Tall Trees!
