I was looking to move and had a VERY short timeframe between finding out I had to move and actually moving, less than a week. I priced out options, Pod shipping containers, driving a UHaul myself, various other moving companies. I was told about uShip and figured why not, couldn't hurt to at least post my stuff. The mechanism of listing your items is really helpful, the way they have nearly all household items listed in menus so you can just click quantity. I posted my items without a requested budget or picture, so I figured I was less likely to get a response in time. I got a few bids that seemed to be an auto-bid, something automated that would send a bid to anyone who was going along that company's route. The price was way off of what I was looking, but then I got a bid from one other guy, Bigfoot22. He had great communication, good response time and a much better than expected price. After accepting the big everything went as planned, my items were picked up, transported and dropped off on the exact timeframe I was quoted. Todd (Bigfoot22) was very accommodating and willing to drop off my items at my convenience, just needed a little notice to get ready and make the short commute. He's a very hard working guy and I hope people see his strong reviews as the truths that they are. I'll definitely be using uShip again, unfortunately it'll most likely be an in-town move so I doubt I'll get the chance to use Todd again, but overall the experience, price and transaction was excellent.
