About two weeks ago I decided to become a horse owner and rescued a horse. The question then was how do I get the horse down here. I used another online site that has transport companies contact you. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with that. The shipper I booked with and paid for in full did not contact the man where the horse was and did not contact me. I don't think I would have known he cancelled if it weren't for a text saying he couldn't get the horse. I have yet to get my money back. I wish I would have booked with that company through uship as he is rated #2 in horse transport. Atleast I would have been able to book with him and then pay. The other method just had me going to paypal to pay in full. But, I decided to go with uship. I listed with uship and within a few hours had a couple of bids and went with cindirapp. They contacted me right away, let me know when they would get to Fallon. Stephanie, the daughter of the owner would be the person driving my horse down to Vegas. She arrived in Fallon a bit early and was told she'd have to wait. She stayed the night, picked up my horse, took pictures of him and told me she was on her way. She arrived in Vegas exactly when she said she would and made sure that he was settled in before leaving.
I couldn't have gone up there and brought the horse down for the price I paid through Uship. I would have had to borrow a trailer, paid for food, lodging, and gas. This was easy and affordable. I had worries about the shipper on the other end but had faith in Stephanie that she was going to get him. Wonderful experience.
