I bought a 2004 Bennington pontoon boat sight un seen thinking how am I going to get this home from NY to North of Boston? I found the Uship website and decided to get an idea of how much this was going to cost me, I did this prior to purchasing the boat. I received several bids right away, some were high over 400 and others were low 245. A few dropped out due to not having something to pick up here in Boston making it a one way trip. So I decided to send Tropical transportation a few questions to see the response, which I was quite surprised after reading some of the feedback. Bernie answered all of my questions, around 10 to be exact, so I decided to call him to see if I could get in touch with him and he answered on my first attempt, we spoke about a pick up and delivery time in which he said was no problem. So I went ahead and purchased my new boat and scheduled the pick up time and place as well as a drop off location, which was my house. Believe me I am very thorough person and try to cross my T's and dot my I's before committing to anything. I was a little nervous all day waiting for my boat thinking the worst.. like, am I going to get taken.. Is he going to show up.. And I will say I was very pleased to see Bernie pull up in front of mu house, I knew he would be a little late dut ot traffic condition along the way. Great guy, big smile on his face when he pulled up, very pleasurable person. I will certainely tell friends and family about Uship and the great experience I had using them. I will always read feedback and make my decisions based on MY experience, like how long it takes to receive a response to my questions and is there someone to answer my phone calls and if they do then i make my decision based on those experiences. There are always gerks out there that love to find the littlest thing to leave a negative feedback. Make your own decisions based on some of the things I mentioned and if you feel comfortable then use that person like i did.
