I had bought a 30ft trawler and originally planned to move it myself with my own truck. As I started planning my trip to get the boat home it came to a point where I realized that my truck was not built to pull a boat that size for that long of a distance. I spent several days exploring all of my options. It was on the iboats forum that folks recommended I call around to some 'transporters' and get quotes. I did not believe this would be possible. My budget was $800 and who would move a boat that big and that far for such a small budget? I spent 2 days on the telephone calling places like Marinas, tow companies and one boat yard. Asking them recommendations and calling whoever they thought might know. This was time consuming and ultimately just waisted 2 days of time. To be perfectly honest there was a point in this journey that I had about given up on my dream of getting this trawler home. Through google I became aware of uship and the more I read about it, the more excited I got. So I fumbled my way through uship and set up my account. Within minutes I had my first quote. Shortly after that Denes (My transporter) gave me a call and after that phone call I realized that my dream was back to reality. I made the drive one last time to prepare my boat for the journey. I did a few things wrong but Denes took care of it and did not charge me extra. Uship and 1stClass4Less will have me for a customer for the rest of my life. The BEST part is that you DONT need to have a lot of money to get a first class service you would normally pay thousands of dollars for. My budget was very small and in the beginning I did not believe any of this would be possible. Here is the link with me talking about all of it on the iboats forum. I believe its page 2 towards the bottom where I talked about Thank you uship and Thank You Denes! Brandon Hatch
