"Getting Vehicles Shipped."
shipping from Rome, New York Waterford, Connecticut for $350.00
I sell cars on the internet and frequently need vehicles shipped regionaly and cross country. I have had bad experiences and good experiences shipping cars. I've had customers who have made deposits with "brokers" and either have waited several weeks or have never gotten the vehicle picked up by a trucker. Some of my customers have lossed their deposits or had to pay substantually more. I have found the best way to ship is to bypass the "broker" and make sure you deal with an actual trucker or a company that has its own trucks. WATCH OUT for brokers who low ball the shipping quote. Those are the ones who will steal your deposit. I have had several great experiences here on USHIP. But I never hire a broker. I always ask "Are you a trucker?" If they don't answer you or use double talk - keep on looking until you actually find a real person who will move your vehicle. They're out there. You gotta have patience. That's my story.
