I am a veterinarian and when I entered vet school, my father bought a grandfather clock. He even had my name put on a plaque and put on the front of the clock. He always said "someday that clock will be yours". I remember falling asleep in that house and listening to the beautiful chimes of the clock. Well, "someday" unfortunately came and I had to figure out a way to move my favorite clock. Well I live thousands of miles away from my hometown so getting the clock here was going to be a problem. I discovered U-ship and soon found a bidder, Earl with USAshipping4less. He was great! He went to my friend's home (who was keeping the clock for me) and wrapped it "up like a mummy" as Earl said. He loaded it onto his cargo trailer and off they went. He had to drive for days to get to my new home in RI but he kept me updated along the way. Each evening I would log onto email to check on Earl's progress. He then hit some bad weather with heavy rains and super high winds in Pennsylvania but Earl just kept on going! Finally last night Earl made it to RI. However it was getting late and I have a young daughter so he kindly agreed to wait until morning and first thing this morning, my daughter greeted him in her ballet outfit and he moved the old grandfather clock into the house. He even politely watched my 3 year old dance and do somersaults while he unpacked the clock. It arrived just as promised and is now waiting for a tune-up so we can all, granddaughter and daughter alike listen to the chimes of my favorite clock once again. Thanks Earl!
