I live in Nova Scotia and bought a boat on Ebay which was located in Wisconsin. Then I had to get it home.
I called a shipping company and they quoted me "at least $2900....maybe $4,000." to bring the boat from Wisconsin to the Canada-US border
I then listed my request on U-Ship and right away had six offers from $1200 to $1500. Two of them sounded like they had experience doing exactly as I wanted and I asked them both if they could move the boat on a certain date. Thet both said "Yes" but I took the first one to reply. Wayne Haas price was $1,300.
The boat was picked up exactly as I asked and delivered exactly where I wanted it a day sooner than I thought possible. In the meantime I changed the destination a bit and that was no problem.
I would not hesitate to use U-Ship again.
