I had accepted a bid for a short distance move (one bedroom/bathroom). The first bid I accepted basically no-showed on two consecutive days (and didn't even have the courtesy to let me know) and caused a great amount of stress/anxiety as I had a very narrow window to move between jobs. As I had a sneaking suspicion they would never show, I placed another shipment on uShip and started calling around to different moving companies and pods, etc. As it was a holiday weekend approaching, my options were very limited. Fortunately, I found another comparable bid on uShip within 8 hours that in the end worked out very well, though it was more expensive than other bids I could have accepted when I accepted my first bid. I went back to look at the reviews on the first service provider and did find a number of reviews that said they did not show or the bid was canceled because they could not work out dates ... I should have taken those comments more seriously. BUYERS BEWARE, it seems that the service providers that don't show are not held accountable so make sure they are reliable before accepting their bid!!
