I found that using the Uship "Directory" was the better way, though it took a few hours. I had bought 2 upholstered chairs from a seller in Florida, on ebay. I needed someone to pickup the chairs from the seller's store, wrap them to protect them during shipment, and bring them to my house in Arizona. I posted this on Uship. I got no reasonable bids during the first 24 hours. I turned down the one I had received, to ship the chairs for $550, which I thought was too high. Then I spent a few hours using the Uship "Directory," looking for people based in either AZ or FL, or Southern California, who often transport goods along the southern route across the country. I sent out a bunch of requests for bids. The result was 3 bids within the ballpark of what I could spend. The shipper I selected did the job for $400, and the chairs arrived in AZ in great shape. I would use Uship again.
