I purchased a paso fino mare in Florida and needed her brought home to Illinois. I picked the shipper based on reading all his feed back. He picked up and delivered the horse just as agreed, within the time frame agreed upon. I was especially pleased when he walked her down our lane to the barn and commented on some of her physical characteristics, which showed me that he'd taken time to really observe the horse. To me, this is the foundation of safe animal care, any one can "do a list" but good care takes careful observation to really SEE how the animal is and make care decisions based on that.
I would use UShip again but would want to deal with this same carrier so other bids would not be necessary.
I especially liked the tracking feature. It was reassuring after talking to them (to tell them that there were tornado warnings in the area) and know they were stopping (to wait out the potential 70 mph winds), to see an hour later that they were moving. This told me I didn't need to worry any more, they were obviously ok and traveling again.
