Having not been out bidded as I thought (hoped) I would, with my impulse ebay offer on a very old, very heavy (!)pine cupboard.....I realised that I had won the thing and that worst of all it was a "pick up only " item and it was 223 miles away!
I had quotes from £550 from same day couriers and even £198 from another courier quotes website. I even thought of paying the seller and never taking the item as it was going to cost much more to ship than it was worth!........then I got an offer (£84) from "the courier" They were great, prompt and polite and really helpful.
