My wife and I decided to buy a Nimble 24 sailboat. It's not a common boat and we concluded that we would buy one wherever it became available and have it moved to our home in Western Canada. We bought one in Florida.
Next I checked with a could of local trucking companies but found their prices to be prohibitively high. I was going to make the 8000 km round trip myself when, after searching "boat movers" I stumbled upon uShip and, eventually, Alexander Yacht Movers. Phew.
