"Two Cars, Two States,Two Snowstorms"
shipping from Tulsa, Oklahoma Oak Lawn, Illinois for $650.00
I inherited 2 non-running 1969 Full-size Ford LTD's from a guy in Oklahoma in the middle of January. He lost his storage and couldn't afford to keep them. They had to be moved ASAP to my place in Chicago which was over 680 miles away. I couldn't get anyone to move them for what I could afford. A friend of mine finally told me about uShip, so I figured I got nothing to lose and I would give them a try. After about a dozen or so bids, I was still a little disgusted until I found Craig(CJD1963), a great and affordable transporter. He was going to pick up the cars for me right away for a price I could afford and he didn't need payment until delivery. I accepted his bid and we agreed on a date to pick them up. Then all of a sudden, Oklahoma got blasted with the worst snowstorm in decades. Everything and everywhere in Oklahoma was shutdown from the storm and nobody could get in or out. I thought I would never get these cars. Even after a week the roads were still bad and there was still alot of snow and ice on the ground but my transporter said he's going anyway. He got in, got the cars loaded and tied down just before yet another snowstorm was about to hit. The timing was perfect. He got on the road right away and delivered the cars safe and sound to me within hours before that same snowstorm was setting up to hit in Chicago were the cars were brought. If he would of left just hours later, it would of been a disaster on both ends. Everything went great. This was my first time with uShip, it won't be my last. I couldn't of had better service even if I would of done it myself. He moved in and out safely and got my vehicles to me just in time. He unloaded them out in front where there was enough room and then I moved them off the street and under cover just before that storm hit here . I will definitely use uShip if I ever need transportation of another vehicle and will definitely use the same transporter too. The timing was perfect. Thanks. Fordaholic.
