My husband, an Air Force pilot, is returning home from deployment today and can't WAIT to see his coonhound Troy (and me and his new baby of course). The problem is, after visiting FL to see family, I was unable to fly the dog back with me because none of the planes had pressurized cargo areas. I was in a pickle, and afraid to tell my husband the bad news. Then I found uShip. I posted Troy's picture and told my sad story, and H2LogisticsPlanners quickly gave me a bid for only $150 to bring Troy all the way from FL to Wichita, KS! An airline ticket was going to cost almost $400, so I gladly accepted. Freda, our shipper, had a soft spot for military families, as her son has also just left for Iraq, and even when some of her other shipments fell through, she made that very long drive, through bad weather, just for me, just for $150. She said she was a woman of her word, and she definitely meant it. Not to mention she treated Troy like her own, he absolutely loved her, and whined at the door when she left. If everyone is business was as professional and friendly as Freda, this world would be a better place. Thanks Freda, and your son Michael will be in our prayers!
