From the beginning of my search to find a shipper to deliver my boat I was very apprehensive as to who I would give the job to. I researched extensively and decided to go with a uship provider against the recommendations of traditional transport companies. I was told to beward uship drivers since most delivered without pulling permits, or without proof of insurance, or with old equipment that would put your boat at extreme risk. I soon learned that not only was my provider, Zach, legit, but also half the price I was quoted from other non uship companies. He explained that since he did alot of deliveries for marinas, uship was not his primary source of referral, and that if he was in my neck of the woods, he could pass on the savings to me after a delivery he would have made for another client. Permits were pulled, insurance was in place, equipment was right. If you do your homework, check your shipper out and ask for proof of these things, and of equipment, you should be just fine. Would use Zach again and uship anytime. Don't let the competition scare you from bidding. Just do your homework and know who you are dealing with. I spoke with Zach many times and he answered my questions to my satisfaction. Thank you uship for giving me the opportunity to secure shipping.
