This is really the way to get something moved, especially if you need to go a long distance. It really makes sense to be able to match up service providers who are in a particular area and heading in a certain direction, with people who also need something moved in that same direction! I had a dining room set moved from Albuquerque, NM to Alexandria, VA. I bought it in Alb for a great price but live in VA. I thought I'd have to wait a lot longer to get it shipped east.
