BlackShip mover accepted my job to deliver a two piece sectional couch and gave me an excellent and low price to do it. I provided dimensions and weight of the two boxes. When he got to the warehouse, the boxes were double the size and weight yet he loaded them in his truck without complaint. He called me to confirm that they would fit in the elevator and I assumed that the cartons were larger than anticipated but the couch pieces were smaller so confirmed the delivery. Alas, neither fit in our elevator. He arrived totally prepared with quarters for the meter, box cutters, measuring tape, tape, blankets, moving ropes - everything possible. I live on the 12th floor of a loft (high ceiling) building. With the help of our doorman, they carried TWO enormously heavy and LARGE couch pieces up 12 flights of stairs without compalint. His only concern was that the delivery be completed successfully and carefully without damage to the new piece of furniture. No one else would have done what he did. On top of that, he returned the next day to complete the move despite having been paid in full the day before. He not only called me to confirm the time, he called the doorman. He cleaned up everything before leaving and made sure that the couch was assembled and set up in my apartment. There is not a more professional, decent, thoughtful, honest guy out there. He deserves any and every job he bids.
