I bought a boat in Michigan and was looking to transport it down here. Tried uShip and just could not pull the trigger. Almost decided to make the run myself. How hard could it be? 1350 miles up, 1350 back towing a boat, a week in different hotels, greasy fast food and diesel fuel cost, nothing to it. After putting a pencil to it, getting near my transport time deadline and realizing the actual cost of a trip to Michigan to transport, I decided to try uShip again. However, now I decided to seek out transporters and fotunately I requested and got an excellent bid from windinhair97. What a lucky deal for me. Frank is one of the nicest people I have ever met, an excellent transporter and most of all a true Red, White and Blue American.
He picked up my boat early and got it here safe and sound. I could have made the trip myself and saved a little money but I am not sure that it would have been worth the toll it would have taken on me or my vehicle.
If you read this and need a transporter to move something for you, do yourself a favor and use Frank. You will not be sorry.
Frank does a complete inspection before he leaves with your shipment. Heck, he found stuff on mine that I didn't know was there. He found a small trailer problem, notified me and went to a trailer repair and corrected it before he hit the road. What a guy!!!
Would I ever use uShip again? Definitely yes, as long as windinhair97 is still out there truckin' across the country.
