This was my first experience with uship, and I would highly recommend it to others. I received a number of bids and opted to work with Ray Thrower because his references were excellent, he answered my questions fully and promptly, and he turned in a very competitive bid. I needed to ship a 300-pound exam table from Pennsylvania to North Carolina. The office in North Carolina had originally arranged for shipping with a major national carrier. When their guy arrived at our office, two days late and without phoning, he took one look at the table and said, "We can't ship that. It's not crated, and how am I supposed to get it out of here?" (He claimed he didn't have a dolly.) I saw him to the door and immediately went to uship. What a contrast Ray Thrower was to the prima donna national guy. Ray arrived precisely when he said he would, he brought an assistant and two dollies, and he brought blankets to protect the table. Ray and his assistant handily moved the table out of our office and onto their truck on Tuesday morning and delivered it to the office in North Carolina by the following morning, as promised and, most important, in the same mint condition it was in when they picked it up. Incidentally, Ray did all of this for one third of what the prima donna national carrier was going to charge. If you need something shipped, you need look no further than Ray Thrower. He'll get the job done promptly and professionally. Thanks, Ray!
