I think your service is an effective way of matching shippers with those that need something moved. However, the way you go about the process is flawed in my opinion.
The practice of allowing all competitors to have access to e-mails between a potential shipper and a UShip customer is a poor practice. This allows competitors that beleive they will not be selected to snipe at the favored transporter and to flag e-mails in an attempt at retribution against a customer that did not select them as the preferred shipper.
This happened to me. I received e-mails that sounded, on the surface like they were informative, when in reality they were "cheap shots" at the transporter I selected. As a customer, I eventually felt like I was in the middle of some type of transporter drama show.
A more effective way of accomplishing this process would be for independent moderators to track each potential transaction and deal with the parties with professionalism, not "cheap shots."
Additionally, when making a deposit with UShip I was led to believe the you kept a portion of the deposit as a "finder's fee" and the rest was provided to the transporter. I discovered that you keep the entire deposit and in my opinion I was misled by UShip.
