I was a bit worried about shipping a gorgeous Early American/Victorian oak bedroom set from Arizona to Louisiana, but when I read Landlift's feedback I felt reassured. Their bid was very close to my target price and reasonable considering the great distance and fragility of cargo involved.
Steven did a great job of keeping in touch through email and phone regarding plans as they progressed from tentative to slated in stone within the hour given. Despite the fact that his partner broke his ankle during the move, Steven delivered the set on time and in perfect condition. The set was even more spectacular in person, and then I realized moreso how easily the mirror, which tilts, could have been shattered or separated from the base or the delicate towel bar above the washstand could have snapped if it had not been dismantled and properly handled.
Additionally, we were not ready to set up the bed right away as we were waiting on a queen sized conversion rail set for the double head/footboards. Steven insisted that we keep the other railings in the packing quilt/materials he delivered it in. In Louisiana, we call this "lagniappe" which means a little something extra, but in any culture that just amounts to great customer service--and another bid! Smart cookies! GREAT JOB!
