Recently, I made a clean break in an abusive relationship but unfortunately, I had to give up a miniature pinscher puppy that we found together to avoid further manipulation. It was a difficult loss.
Two weeks later, in the middle of the night, I woke up to the radiator coming running hot in bedroom. I went to the bathroom to crack the window but found myself waking up in the bathtub. I had a severe pass out where I knocked down a shelf of stuff to the floor, tore down the shower curtain, items falling into the tub. I had no recollection but the evidence.
Before going back to sleep, I thought that I better call a friend to check on me in the morning. I dialed a friend in Louisiana. While talking to him, he mumbled something about piranhas nipping at his socks.
"What are you talking about?"
"Oh, my niece brought over a litter of puppies that are playing with his socks."
"Puppies?! What kind?"
"Miniature pinscher mutts"
"REALLY! What is she going to do with them? Sell them?"
"No, just finding them good homes."
Well, you can guess the rest of the story. uShip and Craig, my carrier, brought my miracle puppy to me in Colorado. Puppy and I are best friends from the start. What where the chances...bizarre pass out occurrence, called random friend in Louisiana, who just happened to have the type of dog that I just lost, the dogs look near identical. Thank God, miracles can happen!
