My dog Casey was brought home to us yesterday by some great shipping folks from UShip. Casey is my 10 year old Border Collie mix, he had been clear across the country for the past three years with my Mother comforting her with the loss of her two big yellow labs and her dear husband. My mother was no longer physically and financially able to keep Casey so it was time for him to come home to be with us. Casey has special needs, he had a neurological injury as a younger dog, he needs medication daily and needs help getting in and out of vehicles. Air flight was out of the question so we really wondered who we could find to help us get him home, a long 2400 mile trip. We stumbled on Uship on the internet and quickly found several folks interested in bidding on his trip. Class Act convinced us that although their main business was not animals they would take good care of him. They did just that and more. They met my mother at her choice of destinations in Seattle and helped her get both Casey and all of his stuff loaded, she is 75 so this was very helpful. Then they drove across some very stormy and windy states in good time with Casey comfy in the back seat of the truck with them. They took him for walks and gave him his meds and treated him like he was their own well loved older dog. At their base Lisa took care of my nerves by making sure I knew where they were and how he was doing all through the trip. They even got to Indianapolis earlier than necessary to be sure to meet us on time as we drove up from Louisville. The happiness of being reunited with my Casey after three years was matched by the smiles on Herb and Bobby's faces as they handed him over to me. They had had a long, hard trip and in the process brought home a very loved and wonderful pet. We were very grateful to have found UShip and the folks from Class Act and will do business with both again in the future. Thank you UShip, Thank you Herb, Bobby and Lisa at Class Act!You are angels!
