My company needed to move a trailer within 4 days. I had not arranged this kind of service before so most details were new to me. In general the experience was easy, but I was surprised by a couple things.
First, I was surprised that I could not pay for the entire service through UShip. Some sort of Paypal system would streamline the process would be nice. Furthermore there was no notice one way or the other indicating that I would have to pay the driver directly or that I would not be using UShip to pay. This provided a number of problems on my end as we tried to get a check written.
Secondly, when I went to print a receipt for my expense report, there was no indication anywhere on booking page indicating the UShip service fee. I know it was there because ToS states it would be there & my credit card was charged that the deposit. It just didn't show up on the receipt.
