In my perusals of Ebay for the purpose of expanding my operations as a start up business, I discovered the perfect shop table. All other tables listed were feeble in comparison. This shop table is the definition of heavy duty, and fit all of my requirements for such a table, and additionally, can fit in my work space. I had to have this table. I called local fabrication shops to see if they could replicate this shop table, but did not get a positive feeling towards the outcome, i.e. it might end up to be a nightmare and an expensive one at that. The gentleman who was selling the table lived across the country (I live in Colorado and he lives in Massachusetts) and really only wanted to sell it locally because of the table's size. After about a month with no biders, I contacted him and he returned the communique` with a somewhat high shipping price, i.e. I did not want the shipping price of the table to be more than the cost of the table and I had a budget to stay within. I turned to the internet and found uShip.com, which is not affiliated with Ebay, but many customers, it appears, use uShip.com to ship heavy items purchased from Ebay. I proceeded to set up an account with a "Bid Now" price. HAMMOR LOGISTICS responded to the "Bid Now" price with a plan of attack. I accepted his plan with vigor, which in essence was a contract for him to pick up and deliver the table for the price agreed upon. HAMMOR LOGISTICS stuck to the plan, picked up the table and delivered it ahead of schedule. I was surprised to hear from them when they called, a Friday afternoon, that he could deliver the table at 0800 local time that next morning. They arrived exactly at 0800 and the transaction took only 30 minutes to complete. The table weighs 800lbs, but they did not seem daunted by the task of off loading it from the truck to my garage, which is what happened exactly. I helped them push it uphill until the table was in my garage, exactly where I wanted it to be. Kudos!
