Sometimes things in life happen for a reason and can bring the most caring people into your life as well. We have been busy taking in retired horses and caring for them and also taking neglected or abused horses and rehabbing them into new homes. This past summer my daughter's lost their beloved mare. Coco taught them to ride and was a huge part of our family. She was only 28 years old and looked in the prime of life. Little did we know that she had a horrible cancer going on. She looked so young and healthy. She never did act sick though, but she began to cough. We spent thousands of dollars in hopes of saving her when finally my vet told me honestly what I had known in my heart, it was time to let her go.
Now here it is January and my friend, Jill, told me about this really nice well trained show mare that was available due to her board not being paid for several months. At first I just dismissed it as I didn't see how we could do this. Then this mare just stayed on my mind. I contacted the stable she was at and met the nicest and most caring people. They wanted to find her the right home. She sounded like a perfect match for my older daughter who is 13.
I posted her on UShip and sure enough I had some really wonderful bids made on bringing her to us. There were a lot of caring people out there wanting to help.
I picked this one company that I just felt so comfortable with. They were able to pick her up just 2 days after I placed my ad and now this lovely mare is here. She is so beautiful and is a dream come true for us.
Thank you so much UShip, you have made my daughter's dream come true.
I will certainly use UShip again. I found the best and most caring shippers. The bids were all very reasonable. Thank you so much.
