I needed to have a piece of furniture transported from Virginia to Philadelphia. Before my sister died in May,2008, She had purchased a Chaise Lounger.(she was disabled so the chair was a great asset in her case.) No one else had need of this particular type of chair, so therefore I decided that I could make good use of the chair in my home. Only problem was getting it from VA. to Phila. Upon calling UPS I learned that anything over 150 lbs. is freight and would cost dearly. I surfed the web and I came across uShip. I followed the directions and got my job posted. I received quite a few bids but I ultimately decided to use Lyan2. Arrangement was then made with the person who was keeping the chair for me in VA. until I found a way to transport it. Eveything went like clock work. The time elements envolved were very precise. I did not have to sit around wondering or trying to figure out what time the service provider would arrive to pick up the chair, nor did I have to worry or wonder about what time the chair would be delivered, as contact was made on both ends about arrival times for pick-up as well as for delivery. Once the service provider arrived at my home with the chair they went above and beyond the call of duty by securing my chair in its final resting place, which required extra work because they had to figure out a way to get it to the final resting place area. However, they did not hesitate to accommodate me. Their expert aproach made a formerly difficult task manageable. I found them, not only to be very reliable, punctual, and pleasant, but courteous and very kind and considerate as well. This service provider demonstrated a good basic understanding of the job and what is expected of them when having the possessions of other in their care. They did a wonderful job. The world needs more dedicated workers like them. I am very appreciative and I would not hesitate to use their service again in the future should the need arise. bbryant941
