Delta Transfer moved a bed, dresser, boxes and several smaller pieces for me from Denver to Los Angeles. The pickup went smoothly - we had everything ready and two men loaded it into the truck in a matter of minutes. We had originally planned on two dressers, but then had only one and asked if we could have them take a sewing table instead, and they said it was no problem. They were supposed to arrive in a week or so in Los Angeles, where my boyfriend was awaiting the goods. We had a three day window in which they needed to arrive before my boyfriend was leaving for Labor Day weekend - obviously a time when a lot of people travel. This was made clear from the start. I called to confirm the on-time arrival, and I let them know if they were going to arrive late, they should tell me so that my boyfriend could change his flight to Friday from Thursday. They told me it was on time. The next day they called and said a truck had broken down, and they wouldn't be there until Friday morning. (The original arrival date was Tuesday or Wednesday). I understood, cars break down, and they said they would absolutely would be there by Friday morning so my boyfriend could take a Friday night flight. A day later they called to say they had another breakdown and wouldnt make it until Saturday morning. This was unacceptable since my boyfriend had already changed his flight once. I spoke mostly with Brandy during these problems. She said Jeff could unload the items into the empty apartment if we left a key. This was not at all ideal, but was the only option to avoid my boyfriend canceling his vacation. It was good they worked with me. However, I asked them to mail me the key once they were done and they failed to do so. Also, two items were not delivered, and they had to be mailed later - arriving weeks after the initial arrival date. Long story short - there were definitely problems, but they tried to work with me, though it was very frustrating at times.
