I ordered this new marathon carriage about 1 year ago. Nothing has gone right since with this carriage. It was to be done my May, latest, for show season, well we hit many bumps in the road. I never got it, it ruined my show season, then my horse that this was custom made for is out of commision for some time, and it then was finished. I was going to go and get it myself, but I just could not think of that drive with the gas prices and the time. Well I put an ad on U Ship, knowing that I would not be able to pay huge prices but I thought is someone is coming this way and has room, that is great, it was a crap shoot. Well, after a couple higher bids, then a couple VERY rude responses I was going to give up. We were going to leave on Friday and drive straight through from IL to Philly, PA and get it done. Well Summit Transport came through. He gave me a bid I was happy with, I accepted it, we contacted eachother, they were very nice and professional, I felt comfortable with them transporting my new vehicle (you see, I had to sell a lot of things to get this vehicle custom made for me, as I did not have the money to just "buy" it). I just figured something would go wrong with the shipment since nothing has gone right with this carriage so far. Well I was wrong. They were going to pick it up on Monday but were leaving sooner, they contacted the guy that made the carriage and made the arrangements, they called me and told me when they would be here. I was nervous because I was trusting someone I did not know, but, all is well and I am super happy with the outcome. Great guys to deal with. My feelings just hold out for what you want, it will come your way and don't get discouraged. Sad thing is, I have my new carriage right in time for the snow to fly. Not happy about that.
