After checking with several Massachusetts shippers, it was clear from their quotes that they really did not want the business. My boat dealer suggested uShip. I placed a request and within one day had several proposals. All were within several hundred dollars of each other. I did not pick the lowest cost one but I found a balance between cost and good reviews.
I believe the system works, the boat arrived as planned. Boat transport is a difficult business. I commend my vendor for his efforts.
