A trucking company in Floridda who could not ship our boat recommended UShip. . so I signed up. Then when it came time to actually pick a shipper, I was so nervous. I thought, I am going to have a guy I don't even know drive my new boat from Florida to Maryland. What if it is a scam. . what if it never makes it here?? Our shipper, Alex, faxed me everything I asked for. . insurance, driver's liscense, etc. He offered to get our boat off the lot in Florida to meet the deadline for removal, then keep it in his yard for a week and a half, then drive it to Maryland. He told me where he would stay, where the boat would be through the whole time, etc. He called and emailed me constantly. Towards the end. .he kept in touch with me better that I did with him! He even called after it would rain or storm to let me know the boat was fine.. just in case I had seen the weather reports on TV. He treated the boat like it was HIS throughout the whole process. As promised, he delivered the boat on time and made sure to have it fully checked for damage, etc by the guys at OUR Maryland marina. Using USip was susch a positive experience!!
