About a year ago, I purchased the 1966 Chevrolet firetruck that my hometown replaced. My father had served as the Assistant Fire Chief for the volunteer department for all the time I lived in town. He is most likely the only one to have ever serviced this truck and there are pictures of him and I in front of the truck prior to a local parade some 30 years ago. The truck stayed with my parents until I could get its new home ready. When it came time to move the truck to its new home with me some 500 miles away, I considered driving it so I would not have to turn her over to anyone who didn't appreciate how much this truck means to me. Luckily, Uship put me in contact with Tosch and Bill. The driver, Bill, a fireman as well, did everything one could expect of a shipper - showing up when he said he would, accommodating our schedules, and keeping me informed as. Beyond that, he actually listened to my all of my parents' stories about 40 years of firetruck history that could be packed into the time it took to load the truck. Bill took ownership of this truck while it was in his possession and seemed to care about how much the truck means to me. Thanks for a positive experience.
