"Shipping sheep from Arizona to Canada how am I going to do this."
shipping from Willcox, Arizona Rimbey, Alberta, Canada for $1,200.00
I have been looking to purchase new bloodlines for my purebred Dorper and White Dorper sheep in Canada. I had been searching for about six months talking to different producers across the US. I found a producer in Arizona with excellent Dorper sheep and then began the process of investigating how to get them imported to Canada. First I lookied into the import certificates and the health certifcates that would be required before they could enter Canada. Lots of time and paper work but nothing that couldn't be done. I then started to investigate of to transport them. Could fly them until the fall or winter due to the heat. I looked at driving down to get them but the time to do that was fairly intensive. I then started to look for transport companies using the internet and it became a daunting task. I then ran across the uship website and read through all the info on the site and thought I would give it a try. I posted my ad and within a week I had a response. They had asked if I would meet them at the boarder and since that meant only a 6 hour drive, then the 4 days to Arizona I said of course. I reviewed their feedback from previous jobs and asked them some questions, of which I was satisfied with. I had some other offers come in but they had spent the time answering my questions and communicating with me to give me the best price, I was about to accepting any one elses. I accepted their service, they were very open with communication along the trip and they arrived when they said they would. It was a great experience using their service and the uship website. I will recommend both to everyone I know. Thanks
