Arranging for the shipping of my 6,000 lb. boat through uShip was remakably easy. Once I posted it, I received several responses within two days. Bids ranged between $1,050 and $1,650. I did not select the lowest bidder, but went with JadeAuto, which had 100% positive feedback and was fully insured. After I made my selection, uShip took care of promptly closing out the process and I was no longer bothered by bids. After the initial e-mail, I had trouble establishing contact with the service provider. I had to call several times, but I eventually prevailed. I learned that the individual who took care of the office had been out for a couple of days. Nevertheless, once we established contact, things went a lot more smoothly. The driver called me twice before picking up to alert me that he was on his way. After pick up, once he started his trip he called often to apprise me of his progress. Problems arose; it was 115 degrees in the San Joaquim valley and the trailer experienced two blowouts (not simultaneously). Ken just took care of the issues. He even bought a used tire to repair the second blowout because the spare was used to replace the first one. He did not claim any money for the repairs. At the appointed delivery day, Ken towed the boat to our meeting place, then he followed me to the storage facility and delivered it there. All in all this was a very positive experience, I would definitely use uShip and Jadeauto again. The parameters that made this into such a positive experience are: frequent communication, no unexpected charges and a pleasant driver with a "can-do" attitude. Keep up the good work
