My daughter Kori, had a paint mare, named April, whom she obtained when she was fourteen and April was three. Kori worked for months on end training this energetic, sometimes crazy, paint mare. The time and effort paid off. April turned into a kind, willing friend that would do about anything for Kori. This year when April was eight years old Kori decided to try April at jumping and try the hunter circuit with her. April was moved to a training barn where Kori could work with her on juming. April was there two weeks and punctured her shoulder while turned out in the pasture. She was stalled to allow the puncture to heal. Next to her stall was an ill mannered horse that like to show out and started kicking the wall, April turned to get away and hit the wall, breaking her leg. She had to be destroyed, breaking Kori's heart. This started us on our long search for the right horse. We wanted a young horse, with potential, to finish as a hunter jumper. It had to be tall, at lease 16H, because Kori is 5'10. After searching four states we found "Regan", a beautiful bay, four year old, quarter horse gelding in Virgina. The problem, we lived in South Carolina. While searching on line we found uShip, not ever having shipped a horse we were not sure what to do. It was easy with uship we typed in our info and the same day we started receiving bids. We chose one provider that worked best for our needs and everything went smoothly. There was great communication from the start, Regan arrived safely and right on time and the fee was extremely reasonable. If the need ever arises we would definately use uShip agin. They helped to bring Regan from three states away to help heal a broken heart. We thank you uShip for providing us with kind responsible people to bring Kori her next project horse and new friend.
