I found a nice motorcycle for sale in Virginia but did'nt know how to get it to Miami undamaged and in a cost effective manner. I checked some big time shippers that specialize in motorcycles but the prices were deal killers. I was close to abandoning the plan then found uShip in a Google search. With nothing to lose, I entered my information to see what might be possible. Bids started coming almost immediately and I used the feedback feature to learn who these business people were. I found it pays to wait a little before committing as a reasonable price point soon became apparent. I was very happy to learn that I could employ a well recommended shipper at a price about sixty percent less (!!)than the big boys. After careful study, I chose "I-95 Transporter" as they seemed to do especially well with motorcycles (although they do a lot of other stuff too). I was ready to commit to my plan and the motorcycle purchase went well. Now comes the worry part. The feedback was all positive but who really were these guys that I would entrust with my new treasure. I got the bike to my brother's house near Richmond and on the agreed upon day my shipper arrived on time using GPS to the front door. The rig looked impressive and I started to worry less. Then my shipper, Bob, got out and greeted me with a big smile and a handshake. As he loaded my bike and secured it with softstraps he told me about how they do business and a little history of thier operation. By now I was feeling like everything was going to be OK as I watched Bob go on his way. When I got back to Miami to recieve the bike, I found that Jim (Bob's boss)was coordinating things and that I could reach either of them when needed, although I was kept well informed by Jim's calls. When my doorbell rang, there was Bob with the same smile and handshake that I got in Virginia. Best of all, the motorcycle was the same as it had been when it left Virginia, completely undamaged. This happy ending was possible because of uShip.
