Although I live in San Jose, I ordered new sofas from a store in LA that only does local shipping. They'd stopped long-distance shipping because they'd had too many damage claims. So to get the new sofas, I'd planned on flying to LA, renting a u-haul and driving them home but then I found uShip. Concerned about damage, I picked a Service Provider that had good reviews and lots of packaging experience. Because they were also the highest bidder, my husband gave me a hard time - until the shipment arrived. These sofas were so well packaged that it took us working together almost 20 mins to unpacked them. Needless to say, there was no damage! And we love our new sofas!
