As a first time user, I was skeptical. After hearing of all the horror stories around shady moving companies, I was relieved to know that I would be choosing a service provider whose customers would actually use them again.
The first hauler strung me along for a couple of weeks and then finally told me he was NOT going to do the job due to "mechanical problems". That rubbed me the wrong way. However, I found the Uship site had a very efficient manner to process the cancellation and renew my shipment posting.
The second service provider was straight up. He had a lot more feedback and all positive. His bid was $500 more than my original hauler, so the job wound up more expensive than if the first guy had done what he said he was going to do. The new service provider took care of everything. He actually did what he said he was going to do. He stayed in touch every step of the way and had a great attitude. Since I purchased the trailer -sight unseen except for photographs, I really appreciated that David called and told me that the trailer was in great shape as soon as he picked it up.
Overall, a good experience. I will definitely turn to Uship and look for AAMS Transport in the future.
