We found our dream boat online, in Idaho. We live in Wisconsin. After finding a trustworthy dealership to look over the boat, we had to figure out how to get it shipped here. The first place we found was U Ship. It was easy to use, and we had immediate bids. We looked at driving out to Idaho to get the boat, and then we started receiving bids that were lower than we could have driven out to get the boat. This boat had been stored in a garage, and had only 200 hours on it. It was in PERFECT shape. Murphy's law: He left Friday morning with the boat, and hit some snow in the mountains. (We told him to travel without the cover, because they rip when they are trailered on). No big deal. Then over a foot of snow decided to fall in the Dakotas. Even through all the snow, he kept plugging away, and was only 3 hours off from his predicted time. Yes, the boat was full of snow, but he insisted that he clean the boat for us, which he did. This is a ski boat, so we took it up to the lake the next day. It's first night on a lift in a lake, it snowed 3 inches!!!!
I would definately use U Ship again - only try to avoid snow storms next time! (Who would have thought at the END of April?!?)
