My transporter Robert aka "STICKMAN" communicated with me all the way and his professional packing for transport ensured the safe arrival of an easily damaged and fragile item. You would have to know me to understand how anal I am when it comes to items that are damaged in transit due to poor packing.I deal in antiques that have stood the test of time and there is nothing that irks me more then having somebody improperly package them for transport and have them arrive damaged. After initially spending five minutes on the phone with Robert expressing my concerns about the safe transport of my antique grandfather clock, all my worries were laid to rest as he explained the diligent and professional way he would package the ornate oak carved clockcase(which by the contained a lot of both beveled and convex 100 year old irreplaceable glass)then he told how he would package the clock movement, weights and pendulum. This man goes above and beyond the call of duty and is a welcome throwback to the old days when people actually took pride in they're work.I would use him again in a heartbeat and hope that the next time i need something moved that hes the guy to do it.I echoed these sentiments to him personally and he stated that there was many other drivers for Uship that also will transport your items professionally. The agreed upon price we came to was much more reasonable then any other quotes I had gotten from other shipping or freight companies and the courteous and professional service provided to me will have me look no where else but on the Uship bid board next time I need something else moved. Thanks A million Robert aka "STICKMAN" and USHIP for making it easy to sleep at night knowing my valuables are in good hands.
