I live in upstate NY and sold my vintage 1971 HD Servi-Car to a collector in CA. I have shipped vehicles "free lance" a couple times around the country before and had an idea of cost. After posting on Uship I got an almost immediate response from Larry with B&B Trucking with an excellent bid. After a few questions were answered I accepted the bid and scheduled the pickup. A few days before the scheduled pickup, Larry called to request picking the bike up a couple days early, due to very bad weather was forcing him to change his routing. It was that or he would have to experience some down time (which I know is a trucker's enemy) so in the spirit of mutual cooperation, I complied and all went smoothly. We were in the dead of winter and Larry was able to jockey his rig into a very difficult access area to allow the bike to be loaded via his power lift into his trailer with minimal exposure to the elements. Prior to his leaving, he "guestimated" that it would be about 2 weeks before he returned to CA and don't you know...that's within a couple days of how long it actually took. The buyer in CA was so pleased with the way I set things up through Uship on his behalf and with Larry's performance that he actually mailed me a monetary reward as thanks. This was the first time I used Uship and I'm sure to use their services again in the future, as long as momma let's me keep playing with the big boy toys! Use Uship...use B&B Trucking and tell them both I sent you...seriously!
