My wife told me she wanted her Aunt's piano that was bought for her Aunt by her Grandfather. Her Aunt wished for the piano to stay in the family. As a good husband I jumped. My wife is excellent. She asks for little. I'd like to think I provide well for her and our two babies. When my wife says she wants something, I jump... out of respect.
As it was, I searched online to find a piano mover who could deliver on my wife's request to bring her Aunt's piano into our home. Myself and my family tried to move this beast into my truck. What a joke! Pianos are very heavy.
I searched online and found UShip. From there, moving companies made bids privately. I watched and read plenty of the bids. Empire Piano Movers came in at the lowest price but had the highest feedback rating and they concentrated on moving pianos. A windfall I thought. It was real! Steve was awesome by this blue collar boy's opinion. I spent a lifetime working hard and I can attest that these boys are the ones you wish to handle your piano/move. I think Steve mentioned he moves 60 pianos per month...HELLO! These boys know their piano moving.
More importantly than mopving an item is respect. I was very impressed with Steva nd his help. Those two guys were fast, respectable and knowledgable. You can pack all I know about a piano into a thimble. I am grateful our piano had the care and experince from Steve's Empire Piano Movers. I never knew Steve prior to tonight and I only spent 20 minutes maximum at my house. I gave Steve and his partner a well-deserved tip in my check and cash. He was appreciative verbally. I was very appreciative forever!!
If you have a piano and you need it moved somewhere, Steve at Empire Movers is the place for you to go. If you have to accommodate his trip routing through the country to make your move...do it!! I'll read your satisfaction feedback later.
I asked Steve about mnoving appliances. I'd wait for his help.
