This was my first experience using uShip. I found this service via a web search. I received bids within 24 hours despite it being during the holidays.
My initial listing was for a dining room set. I had received a number of bids very quickly. I had communication with few of them via uShip's message tool. After a few days of the listing, I negotiated with the seller to also purchase a chester drawer. In order to edit my listing, I had to decline all bids. Once I did that, I was unable to send a message to a service provider who had left a question to me. He was waiting for my response before he was going to re-bid. I had to make a second "dummy" listing so that I could correspond with that service provider again. This was my only difficlty with using uShip.
Once I selected a bid, the transaction went very smoothly. The service provider, Mr. Mover, soon contacted me and we easily worked out the logistics for both the pick-up and delivery points. The moving crew called the funiture seller the day of the pick-up to let him know when they were in the area. The furniture was well packed and handled. The movers were very cordial and professional. They unpacked and set up the furniture with no problems.
