Versano is the son of Belameria she was born at Temple Farms 4/28/76. Bought her at a horse auction in Roseville, CA $185.00 she was being sold for slaughter. She was skinny white old horse got home saw a tattoo on her inner lip I found out she was a Lipizzan only 4500 in the world.
I had her for 3 ½ years and on Thanksgiving I had to put her down it broke my heart and it still aches but now with the help of Amy Sabino in Iowa, Matthew & Eileen, Precision Equine Services, I have her son Versano.
For sure, I will always use Precision Equine Services they care about the animals as if they were their own,
Versano will now live with us forever and he is a Christmas present for Justtina (12) my granddaughter and Versano is 12 too they will have many years together!
Being in a wheelchair and longer ride, I can watch and enjoy Justtina and to me that is a gift from God!
God willing one day we will buy a mare with Belameria's bloodline and, continue with her breed and beautiful temperament. Lipizzan's are more human then horse they feel what you feel and when Matthew unloaded Versano and handed me the lead rope Versano started nibbling my hair and kissing my face just like his mother did the day before going to horse heaven. Immediately started to cry because right then I knew that she would always be with me through her beautiful son!
Yes, there is a horse heaven and a heaven for all of God's creatures so she is grazing for eternity with all her ancestors.
Someday we will once again see each other and get kisses all over my face as we spend eternity together.
